ABOUT BHU
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is the central university located in Varanasi. It is one of India's most reputed colleges and is also the largest residential University in Asia. ADMISSION CRITERIA
An entrance exam called BHU-PET is conducted. The admission is through the merit of PET.
The mode of the Postgraduate Examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode ONLY. The Test would be conducted in 200 cities.
FEE STRUCTURE
The fee of the course is Rs. 4,714 per semester.

ENTRANCE
The application for the course starts in January.
The exam is usually conducted in May.
For Group 1 Applicants (Belonging to Psychology Stream)
The entrance test is of 360 marks containing 120 multiple choice questions (120 minutes). The entrance is based on the syllabus of psychology at the graduation level.
For Group 2 Applicants (Belonging to Non-Psychology Stream)
The entrance test is of 360 marks containing 120 multiple choice questions (120 minutes). The entrance is based on General Psychology (10+2 level- 20 MCQs), Verbal ability, reading comprehension and knowledge of the language- (25 MCQs), Data Interpretation and Logical reasoning (25MCQs,) Quantitative Ability & Basics of Computer Application- (25 MCQs), General Knowledge and Current Affairs- (25 MCQs).
NOTE- Separate merit lists are prepared.
